Born in 1953 at Emure
Ile,
In furtherance of her continued service to Ifa,
outside the shores of Yorubaland, a group of Babalawos in Ayetoro town, Egbado area of Ogun State of Yorubaland, decided in 1991 to give Chief FAMA another
honorary title, the Iyanifa AWO of Ayetoro. Her first title, Iyaloja
Awo, was given by a group of Ifa
Priests from an Ifa Temple in Isale Oyo, Oyo town of Yorubaland.
Chief FAMA has written five dynamic books on Ifa/Orisa
Worship and Yoruba culture. The books are: (1) Fundamentals of the Yoruba Religion (Orisa
Worship) regarded as the bible of Ifa,
(2) Sixteen Mythological Stories
of Ifa (Itan Ifa Merindinlogun),
(3) FAMA's EDE AWO (Orisa
Yoruba Dictionary), (4) 1000+
(African) Orisa Yoruba Names and (5) The Ritual, a novella
that details the influence of Orisa worship on the
cultural aspect of Yoruba life. You can buy her books at IleOrunmila.com,
